About Me

I am a Certified School Psychologist. I received my B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Sociology, and my M.A./A.C. in School Psychology. Although I was formerly "Musings of a First Year School Psychologist," we'll say I'm an "early career" psychologist now! I'm currently in my third year working as a school psychologist in an urban district in New York State. My PreK-8th grade building is low performing, with a low level of student and parent involvement and a high level of poverty. My daily duties fall all over the board, from testing students for special education eligibility, to helping with school community service projects, to managing PBIS initiatives, to attending professional development trainings, to responding to students crises. It's an exciting job that keeps me on my toes and learning every day!
